Get in line for Royal Enfield's 120th Anniversary Editions. |
The line forms at 1:20 p.m. Eastern time next Thursday, Sept. 1. And you'd better get in that line early if you want a chance to buy a Royal Enfield 120th Anniversary Limited Edition Continental GT or INT 650 twin in the U.S. (Note that the time equates to 10:20 a.m. in the Pacific time zone!)
Reservations end once all units are reserved.
Only 480 120th Anniversary 650s are scheduled for sale in the whole world, with 120 each for India, Europe, the Americas and South East Asia. Only 60 (30 Continental GTs and 30 INT 650s) will come to North America, Royal Enfield says.
First-come, first-served sales already held in India and Europe ended fast.
For now, sign up here to stay updated on the purchase procedure; you'll choose your nearest dealer when you do so. Hit "Submit" and the form promises you will be contacted by Royal Enfield.
The 120th Anniversary Limited Edition Twins feature a unique "black chrome" finish on the tank, special badging (including a hand crafted brass tank medallion) and accessories (said to include sump guard, fly screens, heel guards, brace pad, bar end and touring mirrors).
Pin stripes on the tank are hand painted. Exclusive brown seats match the hand grips.
The limited edition twins recognize Royal Enfield's long history and traditions since its first motorcycles, of 1901.
They're Made of Metal, Crafted by History, the website promises.
