Lights and reflectors make a statement this 1974 Yamaha TX750. The motorcycle was shown by Murray Milne of Pompano Beach, Fla. |
Reflectors.
Yup, the simple, usually red bits of plastic that seem to light up at night when hit by the headlights of other vehicles.
But wait, there's more. The Yamaha even has a reflector on the side of its tail light! |
The bicycle shop in my neighborhood refuses to sell them at all! They blame them for creating a false sense of security.
Reflectors are required on motor vehicles, along with more substantial lighting, so they have to appear somewhere on motorcycles. Where to put them? The locations can be boring or, in some cases creative.
