Two Royal Enfield motorcycle riders traveled from Austria to Iceland and posted terrific photos of that strange island on the Adventure Rider web site.
Krian and Bernhard, both 25, traveled through Sweden, Norway and the Faeroe Islands to Iceland. They rode two 2005 Royal Enfield Bullet 500s, bought in Austria. It wasn't their first journey: the motorcycles already had taken the pair to Scotland, the Orkneys, Sardinia and Tuscany.
The Royal Enfields made the trip trouble free, Krian reports in her account of the trip. The couple plan to go to Ireland next.
I'm grateful to reader George Elston and Satish Gune on the Royal Enfield Yahoo message board for separately pointing out these spectacular photos.

The pics are simply stunning and I love the Enfield with the "GS" style metal boxes!...
