Peter E. Raymond likes a challenge. I've written
before about his willingness to tackle automotive roadside repairs with maybe a hair clip borrowed from his sister and native ingenuity. His problem solving skills have now extended to his new Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle. The Brooklyn, N.Y. resident writes:

"Had a classic Enfield day on Sunday, I threw a tappet/push rod and had to strip the bike down to access cam/valve cover on side of the road. Lucky there was a pizza box near by to rest the tank on.

"At first I thought I was going to need a flat bed tow, but then I thought if I can just see the problem I might be able to fix it. Sure enough. Did 250 miles since.
"See pics, whole repair took about 45 minutes.
"Now I want to open a shop ;-)"
I doubt he has time for that. Raymond is CEO and Creative Director of
Human Condition a very high-tech "innovation firm."

I love this headline! Love that American ingenuity, too.
